Operation: Help Jen Do Something Potentially Interesting (Part II)

Last Wednesday, I asked you guys to shout out all the YA authors who have impacted your reading experience in an unforgettable way. Thank you guys so much for responding via Twitter and blog comments. It's seriously helpful. I'm still in the process of developing exactly where I am going with this, but rest assured that I'll let you guys know just as soon as I have some semblance of an idea.

Anyway, the results are in. The top 10 authors that scream "YA!" to you are as follows:

1. John Green
2. Sarah Dessen
3. Laurie Halse Anderson
4. David Levithan
5. Meg Cabot
6. Ellen Hopkins
7. Melina Marchetta
8. Scott Westerfield
9. Judy Blume
10. Markus Zusak

Now for even more fun!

Of the authors listed above, which books are your favorite?

If you haven't read that author, that's fine. Skip to the next one. If you have more than one favorite by a particular author, even better! List them all!

I'm looking forward to everyone's responses :)

  13. I loved Paper Towns by Green—if you get the chance to listen to it on CD, do it. Fantastic performance.

As for the other authors, either I haven't read any of their books or I've only read 1 of their books. ^^;; I seriously need to read Markus Zusak and more John Green!
