Seriously though, isn't that cover spookily frickin' sweet? You see her head and her hair and then your eyes travel down and... WHERE THE EFF DID SHE GO?! If that's not indicative of a ghost story, I don't know what is. The cover is vaguely familiar, like a lovechild of THIS and THIS. Whatever, guys. You know I can't resist a gorgeous cover.
I just recently heard about Hereafter, but I do love my YA ghost stories (you saw my review of SHADE, didn't you? Oh, you didn't? Well click HERE to get with the times!)Can you imagine how miserable and terrifying it'd be to wake up... in a river... not knowing how or why you're there, other than the fact that you lack a pulse, body, and heartbeat? Those are some pretty damaging realizations. I'm hoping that this book as as good as it sounds, though I'm a bit confused about ghost's powers to "will someone to live."
Great premise and I hope the execution is equally fabulous.
