In My Mailbox (15) aka SUPERHUGEFABYAY!

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren, who is supa fly.

o hai guise.

I hope everyone had a safe and happy New Year's Eve/Day!

I haven't done an IMM for a couple weeks, but this one totally makes up for it, I think. I kind of went insane on book-buying, what with my gift cards and the fact that my husband is awesome and took me to Books-A-Million and Half Price Books today. (Yes, he's kind of an enabler, he rocks my face off, AND is easy on the eyes. I know how to pick 'em, folks.)

Also, I got a super especially awesome surprise in the mail. Jamie from The Perpetual Page Turner was AMAZING enough to pick me up a signed edition of Vampire Academy from the Richelle Mead signing she went to earlier this month! OMG! You guys! Richelle Mead WROTE MY NAME. Sure, 40% of the American population is also probably named Jen, BUT SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT ME! So thank you, thank you, thank you a bajillion times, Jamie. You are awesome and I heart you.

Without further delay, here goes. This may take awhile.

So glad you got so many goodies! And OMG I've only read 2 of those books. #fail. I really loved the writing in The Sky is Everywhere, and Jandy Nelson is an instant-purchase for me from here on out. And since I'm all Courtney Summers fangirly of course I've read that one. =)

I'm most looking forward to reading your thoughts on Intertwined. I read Melissa Walker's Cover Stories post on it and I was extremely intrigued by the premise.

  15. I love that your husband is an enabler! I need to find me one of those, someday soon.

So many awesome books- I know we talked about this on Twitter but I haven't read ANNA yet, and I can't wait.

I also definitely need to read MATCHED soon- especially since I've heard it's kind of similar to DELIRIUM.

Here's what's in my mailbox this week!

  16. Daaaang girl. You got some FREAKING awesome books. I was so scared that VA was going to get lost in the mail. I got delivery confirmation on that shiiite. I would have hunted down every hand that touched that and told them that they had better find this SIGNED copy for my super awesome friend or else...

  17. Wow. I adore the V.A signed book!

I loved Cate Tiernan's Sweep series :-) I bought the first two books on B&N special clearance 1.99 each. Then I couldn't wait to be shipped to again so I *swept* the whole friggin' area looking for the rest of them. My total at the bookstores wasn't pretty because of the # of books there are, but I LOVED them.

    What a total fab haul!

    Fab Reading!
