Disclaimer: these are books that I WANT to read and are on my TBR list, not books that I necessarily own (unfortunately!) And if I do have any of them on my shelf, I'll specify :)
A Peek Into My TBR is a feature inspired by Waiting on Wednesday by Jill at Breaking the Spine and Books To Pine For by The Story Siren. I did WoW for awhile, but honestly, there's never only one book I'm "waiting" on. And a lot of the books that I "pine for" aren't just up-and-coming books. There's still a ton of oldies but goodies that I'm just now discovering or want to read soon, and I feel like those deserve some recognition as well as the fresh meat.
Deadly Cool by Gemma Halliday

TOO LONG OF A WAIT. I need this awesome looking book with the word "cool" spelled using frickin' iPod earbuds! Though I'm not quite sure what the iPod earbuds have to do with the storyline, I'd like to believe they're perhaps used as a murder weapon. This girl finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her with the president of the chastity club. First off, does this "chastity club" exist? Or is she being facetious? Anyway, Nameless Girl (for real, there's no name in the summary) goes to find the scandalous perps and discovers the girl D-E-A-D! Didn't I tell you? Murder weapon! Also, do they sell contacts in the color of this chick's eyes? I have blue eyes, but you can never go TOO blue.
Once A Witch by Carolyn McCullough

I actually own this one! But I own the hardcover version that has a different cover than this one. This is the paperback and I do believe that the next book in the series will be sticking with this general cover scheme. At any rate, I have never been big on witch books. Tara from Hobbitsies LOVES them, however, and has made me want to love them, too. I figure I may as well listen to others' recommendations, because Lord knows I push faerie books on everyone! By the way, this one takes place at a boarding school. HOLLA!

Ever since Carla from The Crooked Shelf told me about these books, I've been dying to read them. Carla has never lead me astray with book recommendations (Jessica Darling, anyone?!) so I know that I'll love these. I've heard other incredible things about this series. People have CRIED. Maybe I'm a masochist, but I love it when books make me cry. Have you read this? TELL ME ABOUT IT!
