In My Mailbox (31)

IMM is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren!

Like I mentioned before, I'm totally on a book buying ban until August. But Mr. Jen decided to lighten up a bit on the book ban and take me to Half Price Books, where I treated myself to four clearance books! (Seriously, they're SO cheap that they hardly even count as purchases.)

For Review
All These Things I've Done by Gabrielle Zevin
Dark Eden by Patrick Carman
The Power of Six by Pitticus Lore
The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa

Bought
Uninvited by Amanda Marrone (50 cents!)
Never Cry Werewolf by Heather Davis ($2.00!)
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling($2.00!)
The Host by Stephenie Meyer ($3.00!)

All in all, a pretty awesome week for me.

I hate that I've been gone so much, but you guys. It's summer. I've actually had the opportunity for a social life! Therefore, I have little time for blogging, unfortunately. But the good news is, I've been reading like a crazy person. I'm probably only going to be posting sporadically for the rest of the summer, because I have a Vegas vacation coming up and it's going to be FANTASTICAL!

Hope everyone's doing amazing!

OH, and I forgot to mention before that I'm the Friday blogger for Harmony's Totally Booksessed youtube channel. I'll be embarrassing myself weekly with strange facial expressions and odd phrases for your viewing pleasure!

  8. Total Potter nut so... happy reading! I have also read Univited I was UN-impressed. The Host was a very slow read for me.... Just couldn't get into it until like chapter 29. Although, to be completely fair to SM, I was coming down from my recent "Twilight Saga high" so my expectations were way up there. Love your blog btw, I stop by on a regular basis to see what's going on and to maybe find the next book that I will totally obsess over until all my friends have read it too!!
