I had an absolutely fabulous week in books, as well as an unexpected surprise: SHINE. Though I'm just saying, I'm probably going to end up buying all three of the new designs in hardcover. Because I'm wonky like that.

I'm really eager to read For Darkness Shows the Stars! I hope it's as good as Peterfreund's unicorn series.
ReplyDeleteI really need to read Perception soon. I'm dying to read For Darkness Shows the Stars and Shine. Enjoy your books :)
ReplyDelete200 pages in to Shine & I'm just..... omg I'm scared & sad for it to end :( aaahhh!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFor Darkness Shows The Stars sounds amazing. The title, the fact that it is based on the HBIC herself Jane Austen, and a kickin romance. Thanks for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteI've had For Darkness Shows the Stars for a while now and need to get on that bizness. Everyone seems to be SO excited about Shine. I seriously need to read that series. Sigh. I've been saying that FOREVER.
ReplyDeletePam is legit you.
ReplyDeleteALSO!
SHINE!
EEP!
Well, I lie. I still need to read book 2, but your enthusiasm for JSR is contagious yo.
*legit YO.
ReplyDeleteStupid computer.
I cannot WAIT to read FOR DARKNESS SHOWS THE STARS. I've wanted to since the book sold in 2010. Enjoy it SO much!! I still need to read CLARITY and SHADE, eep! Enjoy everything!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't help but snicker at The Psych Major syndrome - I'm a clinician myself, so the quiet laughter was involuntary. I wonder how the premise of the narrative goes. :)

Wow! You got Shine! I read Shade a while ago, but it didn't work for me. Still, since I've seen you love the series so much, I'll read the next one and see how it goes :)
ReplyDeleteAnd For Darkness Shows the Stars? That's AWESOME!
Have a great week, Jen! It makes me happy to see you're back <3

You know, it was your review of Shine that got me all excited for Shift. Which I still haven't read but just recently picked up at signing. BRO, THAT RIVER SCENE. I totally snuck a peek at it through J. Smith's website and read it from Zach's perspective and.... A;KLSDJF;LKAHSDFHSADF is about the best I can do to recap my reaction.
ReplyDeleteSo jelly of your copy of For Darkness Shows the Stars. I'd kick something really hard if it entertained someone enough to grant me a copy XP And Perception was my shizz. I absolutely adored it. Harrington has got style. ENJOY YO' BOOKS, JEN.
Have an amazing reading week!
