I've gone on a downloading spree recently because I've been itching for new, amazing music. One of my favorite discoveries has been "It Makes My Heart Break" by Your Vegas. Apparently it was on a show called "Chuck" a couple years ago (which I've never heard of or seen), but YouTube only has the acoustic version available. I HIGHLY suggest you head over to iTunes and purchase the studio version, which is vastly different from the live version. The uptempo 80s rock feel sets the scene perfectly for a drive down the highway, having a singing competition with your stereo.
Another song that you need in your life immediately is "And Then You..." by Greg Laswell. Honestly, I don't know how I survived without this man's music in my life. A huge thank you to Asheley from Into the Hall of Books for putting one of his songs on a mix for me. This song is heartbreakingly beautiful and that VOICE. You know that ear nookie I was talking about? This is it. Except I can't belittle the experience to "nookie." No, sir.
This song is the equivalent of your wedding night.
