Book Blogger Woes (5)

I am a huge fan of First World Problems. I'll be the first person to scroll through their Twitter and laugh out loud to myself, thinking "yes. I DO THAT. In ALL of life." And honestly, guys? I do it in blogging, too. A LOT. I get all uppity about the most ridiculous things. Thus, Book Blogger Woes was born. Every so often, I'll be sharing a different blogger pain pertaining to all of the sulking... but in a comical way.

(Please tell me I'm not the only one who feels these things. You just have to. I can't be the only one.)

It's 8:00am. You have absolutely nothing to do today. But you have a plan. You're going to CATCH UP on blogging and reading. Stupid life or work or cats always get in the way, but NO. Today will be your day. You will schedule ALL the posts. You will read ALL the books. You will write ALL the reviews.
But you saw this really awesome recipe on Pinterest, though. (Along with some other stuff.)
Okay, so maybe just one trip to the grocery store to whip up these Pumpkin Sprinkle Chocolate Latte Pudding Cookie Balls.
$300 later and you've made 3 scarves, 2 mason jar projects, those rubber band spray paint vases, crocheted a new blanket.
But no cookie balls.
And no reading, blogging, or reviewing.
Aaaaaaand now it's tomorrow.

  3. Pinterest is so amazing but totally ruins everything. Maybe we should become craft bloggers?

  11. Yes! Pinterest is crazy addicting! Though, I think I spend more time looking at things than actually making things.

    Great woe!

  13. OMG this was totally me over Thanksgiving break. I was sick at home and thought, hey, perfect chance to get a leg up on my reading and knock out a few blog posts while I'm at it. I was going to be SO productive. Natch. Didn't happen. Alas, this time it wasn't the interwebs that sucked my soul away but rather Netflix and its awesomely bad movies (Strippers vs Werewolves, anyone?).

  14. This is the story of my life. Seriously. This weekend, I had 5 days in a row off. Did I write any reviews? No. Did I finish a lot of books? No. Did I watch a ton of episodes of the Office for the 100th time? Yes. Did I drink beer and leave my house? Yes. Also, I ended up on pinterest for like 7 hours repinning fonts and downloading them to make graphics with later for my blog, alas I only made one graphic and I am not sure that counts as doing anything really blog related.

  15. So yeah, this happens to me, only I don't accomplish ANYTHING. Like, seriously, I'm the least crafty person ever, and I don't really cook. What happened to me on those days? Did I get sucked into a wormhole forward into time? Was I really just talking to my cat for four hours? WHAT HAPPENED?

  16. It happens to me all the time! At least it sounds like you're productive (in other things) when you're not blogging/reading. I sometimes just sleep through the day. Yep, you read that right.
