In My Mailbox (65) / Stacking the Shelves (6)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren and Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga.

These bookish memes allow us to share with other bloggers the awesome books we got, and of course be jealous of everyone who got super awesome books, too!

So I've really been abstaining from buying the books these last couple weeks, guys. Mostly because of the holiday and family was in town, so there wasn't much time for bookish shopping, but also because I have been GODAWFULLY SICK. I can't taste ANYTHING right now. That's a crime against my stomach and tastebuds. Hoping to get unsick very soon, but it's not looking good.

Which sucks, because I'm starting a new job on Monday! You really have no idea how much this excites me. Instead of driving 40 minutes to work, I only have to drive 5 minutes. Plus, everyone at this hospital is ridiculously nice, so I'm really looking forward to an eye-opening experience. I sure hope this will be the right move for me.

Anyway, you don't care about that. Onto the books!

For Review
I read this already. It was fantastic. I am loving the whole sci-fi genre right now.
This is next up on my reading list. You know, after I do my Twilight Saga re-read. (HEY, Breaking Dawn 2 was awesome and inspired me to dive back into this world with a fierceness. And I'm loving it.)
OH MY GOD EVERYONE GO READ THIS RIGHT NOW. One of the best books of 2012, no contest.
This looks really cute and it's just about to warm up for a week or so here, so I may as well pretend I'm getting a little summer read in, right?
I've never read a Barnholdt book. I KNOW, I suck. But I plan to remedy that with Right of Way, and it sounds like a great contemp!

thanks Macmillan, FSG, Tor Teen, and NetGalley!

Oh, hey. You didn't miss a post these last few weeks, did you?
(I'm recapping since the last IMM!)

Friday, November 16: Jen reviews Anna Dressed in Blood and hides in the corner from all of the murderous ghosts. Except Anna, cause she's cool.
Monday, November 19: Jen reviews Uses for Boys by Erica Lorraine Scheidt and WOW, this is an issue book. But it's painfully real and one that every young girl should read (with discernment. There's lots of sex, drugs, and  language.)
Wednesday, November 21: Jen reviews The Dead and Buried by Kim Harrington and totally experiences a flashback to the Fear Street days, because that's the fun, nostalgic feeling that Harrington brings to this book.
Friday, November 22: You know those free days where you're all "I'm gonna get stuff done" when it comes to the blog, but then Pinterest or whatever other social media totally takes over your life and before you know it, it's tomorrow? Yeah, me too.

Wednesday, November 28: Jen is waiting on The Nightmare Affair by Mindee Arnett and falls straight up in LOVE with this cover.
Thursday, November 29: Jen reviews The Spindlers by Lauren Oliver and would love to pass this along to every middle-grade reader EVER.
Friday, November 30: Romance Covers. Man nipples. Joey Tribbiani. Yep, it's this week's Book Blogger Woes.
