IMM (68) / Stacking the Shelves (9)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren and Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga.

These bookish memes allow us to share with other bloggers the awesome books we bought/borrowed/received for review/whatever, and get to see the awesomeness that others got, too.

  3. Look at all those books! I really need to read Shadow and Bone. I've heard wonderful things about it. I've also heard Tiger Lily is beautiful. Enjoy all you goodies. Happy reading :)

  4. Yes, clearly your husband is awesome. I approve. I also like how without normal sized books in that pic to give them context, they really don't look like the beasts that they are. Also I've heard nothing but the most wonderful things about Tiger Lily, I actually just went and bumped it up my TBR because I've officially read too many good things to ignore it.

    Enjoy!

  7. I love them all! The Madman's Daughter looks awesome -- and, really, so does the Game of Thrones series. I have the first one, but have felt too intimidated to start it. I read Shadow and Bone and thought it was okay, but lots of people have loved it!

    Enjoy all your reads! :)

  9. I'm with you where the George RR Martin books are concerned. I have them all (also because of my mister ;) ) and really want to read them. He loves the books and it would add another series we can talk about. Hope you'll enjoy them!

  10. Ohhh, looks like you got some amazing books! Well, it's not like I've actually read any of them. But I just got Tiger Lily and I have a copy of Throne of Glass as well, and I'm very excited to read those soon! (And same goes for many books on your list!) Hope you enjoy them! :)

  11. Tiger Lily, be still my broken sad heart. TIK TOK ILY FOREVER AND FOR ALWAYS.

Shadow And Bone! I love that book! I ended up buying a signed hardcover of that at full retail price even though I had an ARC it's so good. You better be team Mal or I'll stop being you friend. #bookishthreats

I told you this someplace else on your blog because I do that sometimes, but omg when you start the second book, A Clash Of Kings, text me because i have lost steam and nothing helps my steam more than a reading buddy.

Also because you've seen season one of Game Of Thrones, you dont have to guard your heart too much because you already know what happens but omg, I had to like set the book aside for like a month to grieve over a certain character who dies because of stupid ass Sansa. Ugh. Damn it Sansa. Damn it Cersei. DAMNNNNNN.

  12. I actually just got the first four books in the Game of Thrones series and so far I'm loving it. Such a nice change of pace from YA.

Also, I adored Shadow & Bone, Tiger Lily, and Defiance. Happy reading!

  14. Oh man Anna Godbersen... I read Bright Young Things and have totally failed on the rest of the series! What is wrong with me?!

I'll be curious to hear what you think of Throne of Glass - LOVED that one!

  15. Great haul! So glad you have the Song of Ice and Fire Series! I think you have mentioned that you love the show, well so do I! I honestly like the show even more, but I definitely recommend the books too. I am currently reading the second in the series, 'A Clash of Kings.' I hope to read 'A Storm of Swords' before the third season starts, but we shall see. They are juicy, like the show, but anything but 'light reads.' I hope you start 'A Game of Thrones' soon!

  16. I loved The Darkest Minds & Throne of Glass! Both were among my favorite reads last year, and I certainly can't wait to continue on with both of these series :)
