Jen's Book Haul (69)

I decided to shorten the title to Book Haul. I'm lazy. Inspired by memes hosted at The Story Siren and Tynga's Reviews.

I didn't buy any books this week and I'm getting over a sinus, upper respiratory, and ear infection which left me practically incapacitated for a couple days. However, the UPS man did manage to make me feel a little better with these beautifuls.

For Review
Penguin, I bow to you. Thank you x infinity forever. Also, I'm sorry for scaring my cats and husband when this arrived. No, that wasn't a seizure.

I've never read anything by Francesca, but this look absolutely enthralling! Thank you, Macmillan!

I just finished Shadow and Bone like, yesterday. And holy effing crap, am I glad I have this baby on hand. Again, Macmillan, you rock my world.

  1. OMGOMGOMG Seige and Storm! So freaking jealous!!! O_O Seriously. I drooled a little. Also, I'm not sure how I feel about the blurb of Love in the Time of Global Warming, but the cover is certainly gorgeous (and unique!).

    Have an amazing week. :)

  8. OMG I am ugly with jealousy right now over that ARC of Siege and Storm. I LOVED Shadow and Bone and cannot believe I have to wait (what feels like) an eternity until that book gets released. I hope you love it!

I also just finished The Golden Lily - just in time for Indigo Spell. I'm a big fan of Richelle Mead so I expect nothing short of AWESOME.

    Happy Reading!! my StS

  10. I will never not be jealous of The Indigo Spell even though I get to borrow and even though I will be ordering it.

HUZZAH SEIGE AND STORM. Dude, wasn't the package it came in totally pretty?

I just read Pink Smog by Francesca Lia Block last weekend and quite enjoyed it. I hope her new one is good as well. :-)

  22. Francesca was one of my favorite writers growing up, and even my sister, who is not much of a bookworm at all, loved her stories. I actually had no idea this was coming out (she also just released an adult novel) so I'm going to add it to my list and eagerly await your review.

Hope things are going well with you!
